Dollars for Democracy began fundraising for Democratic candidates in the 2022 mid-term elections. Run by Paul Rosenstiel, Bill Hirsch and Greg Nachtwey, we’ve raised almost $600,000 in the last two election cycles, mostly by appealing to our friends. We target close races, not sure things. Our money has gone to 26 candidates, 15 of whom have won. All races have been close.
We’re not political professionals, but we research races and candidates in depth. With help and guidance from our partner, Swing Left, and closely following our three principles, we offer a coherent, pragmatic strategy to make a difference this year.
